We do a lot of other activities outside of the weekly meetings.
We take the children on hikes, camps, outings and every two years we take a group of children to Disneyland, Paris.
Last year we went on a four day camp to Charlecote Park, near Warwick where the children experienced outdoor activities such as canoeing, climbing, abseiling, caving and a lot of other things. We also took them to London for a trip on the Eye and to the Aquarium. We also visited Air and Science museums. We had a day at Warwick Castle, a visit to the 02 Dome and took them Swimming.
We have over £15,000 worth of kit that can be used by the children and has been purchased from money we have fundraised or received grants for. We have also raised enough money to build our own headquarters, which we hope to start building in the next couple of months. This will be built within the Boughton Leigh Junior School grounds.
